Did I just have half a bottle of JW Blue? BA First LHR-LAX

A premium backpacker needs to fly in style, and I believe that the Grand Old lady of the Sky is and will always be the Boeing 747,  so when you combine a 747 with Seat 1A in First. Well, that's what my dreams are made of.... if I could get a cute girl to share this travel addiction, that would be heaven... :)

$20,000 ticket.. my cost about 60,000 miles and $250...

Check in, after a night drinking at my hostel, I found my way on to the TUbe and off to Terminal 5, after a long long walk, I made it to the First Class Check in desk.

Then it was time to cross another lounge off my lounge bucket list, the Concorde Room at LHR. I had pre-ordered a Cabana and I was set to a good start... unlike the Cabanas at HKG, these are enclosed structures with a day bed, hehe... and to top it off, you can press a button and an employee will bring you champagne or food.

I had the typical made to order English breakfast, after two trips to Barcelona via London in January, I was adding this menu item to my regular diet. The Galleries lounge at Terminal 3 was a home away from home, I think checkin into the Same lounge 3 times in 5 days, when that lounge is 3500 miles from your apartment is a sign that you fly too much, but I digress, back to the story...
the old seats from the Concorde are used in the Business Center

I noticed it was time to board, and after a nice preflight bottle of Champagne at the lounge, I was selected for another search. Seriously, again... gets on my nerves at time...

Time to get used to lovely 1A, I don't know why, but sitting in the cone of my plane, knowing that you are even in front of the pilots just feels special, just 3 years ago, I was a simple passengers glad to get an aisle seat in row 30 on a AA 777, and now I'm wearing my BA Pajamas (they give them out) while sipping Johnnie Blue... I know, hard lifestyle... but again let's see what's for lunch...

Some more cabins shots, all of this was fueled by Juanito Caminante, hehe...

About an hour and a half before landing I ordered some canapes don't worry, the Diet Coke was not mixed with Mr. Blue...
Seems like a good mix... Simpsons and First Class
