My first blog post...

Let's start by saying I hope this does not become yet another boring travel blog. I'm Andrew and last year i flew about 140,000 miles, this year I've done over 100,000 miles and been to some 30 countries... this blog aims to serve as a way to highlight different adventures and countries that I've been to, as well as, offer tips on how to travel and explore the world. I'm a backpacker by nature... I love hostels and feel weird in Hotels, as a solo traveler, hostels are an easy way to meet new people and share war stories... but unlike other backpackers, I really enjoy flying.. in particular, I enjoy flyin in Business Class or better... coach just feels weird... of course, I don't like paying for these trav3els, so due to my elite status on several airlines, I usually get to fly up front for the cost of a seat in wh-Y (economy)

my credentials:
American Airlines Executive Platinum AAdvatage Elite Benefits , which means I fly over 100,000 miles a year with AA. That status is equivalent to OneWorld Emerald..
BMI Diamond Club, or Star Alliance Gold

  1. Hostels and low-priced hotels can adjust their prices at any point so it can pay to book premature, chiefly during the peak time of year.

  2. A good number of hostels offer place in dormitories, or shared rooms.

  3. A hostel with a deprived standing with safety is not a hostel which is going to last long and not a perfect place to stay.
